Abstract

In this note, we will present a brief summary of the archaeological findings and daily events of the Syrian Mission during the fifth campaign in Amrith, as reported by Nassib Saliby in the diary. The text consists of two parts, containing unpublished information of the preliminary findings of the excavations in the northern part of the temple (the entrance), the location of the stone pillars and the architectural and decorative elements that collapsed in the basin. Our purpose in publishing these notes is to highlight some detailed data that may contribute to the update of the preliminary architectural studies and the final publications of the main temple.
